How much testosterone could a 17.5–18 year old realistically take without needing additional compounds like an AI?
I only have Test E available at the moment and dont have access to things like an aromatase inhibitor, DHT blockers, minoxidil, or other compounds yet. The plan would be to stay on a relatively low dose until I've done more research and have everything else figured out.
Would it be possible to manage potential side effects using only legal, over the counter supplements, or are additional prescription compounds usually necessary?
Would something like 50–100 mg per week generally be low enough to avoid major estrogen related issues or things like hair loss, or is that still highly individual?
For context, my cholesterol is already somewhat elevated (around 220 mg/dl) due to family history, and Id prefer to avoid adding a lot of extra medications if possible.
Also, how risky would it be to run a low dose for a few months without regular bloodwork? What are the main things that could still go wrong, even at lower dose?
Im also planning on going up to 200-300 mg weekly later on when i have my compounds, and also staying on test my whole life, not doing a PCT.
