I don't get why the opposite of testosterone is considered estrogen
testosterone is a hormone but estrogen is a class of hormone
androgen = estrogen
estrogen: Estrogen is a group of primary sex hormones that regulate the development and function of the reproductive system and secondary sex characteristics.
androgen: An androgen is a group of steroid hormones that develop and maintain male sex characteristics and reproductive systems, though they are present and important in all sexes.
estrogen is e1, e2, and e3
androgens are testosterone, dht, dhea, and androstenedione
