detaining court interpreters is a ploy to make it harder for illegals to have proper court cases. illegals donโ€™t have any rights to begin with. ICE knows what theyโ€™re doing, theyโ€™re smart.

not my point, you donโ€™t know the full story.
In a democratic country all the procedures have to happen through democratic means and with a judiciary that is blind to political pressure. This is how a government and a court works

Detaining a vetted officer who had valid work authorization and a 35 year history of lawful contribution is by nature self defeating. Even if you are strict anti immigrantion, and pro ice this isn't how things are supposed to happen. When the state itself ignores its own issued permits what is stopping it from throwing the average person without political influence like you under the bus.

the rule of law means enforcing the immigration statutes that congress actually passed, not inventing loopholes or โ€œwork authorizationsโ€ that contradict federal law

a 35 year history doesnโ€™t grant immunity if the underlying status was unlawful

just because they contributed for years the rule of law requires consistent application, or the average citizen loses faith

strict enforcement is exactly how the system is supposed to work when previous administrations overlooked it, didnโ€™t even do its job properly

I don't think you read the case properly. "Withholding of Removal" isn't a loophole it's a binding legal status given by a judge, not a suggestion. True rule of law means the government actually honors the permits it issues. If the government can wheneve it wants toss out 24 years of its own legal documentation, then no one's paperwork is actually worth the ink.

didnโ€™t bother watching the video, just saw the title and assumed it was another one of those โ€˜thingsโ€™

if thatโ€™s actually the case then yeah, my bad lol. yeah thatโ€™s messed up :forcedsmile::forcedsmile::forcedsmile:

though one case getting mishandled doesnโ€™t suddenly invalidate the entire legal system

acting like that means every permit, every status, every document is now meaningless is just overreacting lol

systems mess up, especially with immigration where laws, agencies, and enforcement overlap intertwine with each other

it just means thereโ€™s inconsistency and errors that need to get fixed
