Lol there was zero emotion. Optimus had a cool voice (same voice actor as predator) but he and everyone else had hardly any character development or anything so theres zero emotional investment.

And the meg was a big movie lol. Grossed half a bill

and marvel sucks (imo, cant care about any of the characters or the movies. i simply cant. i guess i have a good taste ig )

Lol repeating the storyline isnt evidence of it being good. Execution of a storyline is just as important .

Mcu is mid too but at least some semblance of character development unlike transformers. Plus way better action. Its 6/10 compared to 4-5/10 transformers

i dont remember a lot being repeated. its not my fault that old people have seen similar storylines before, they should go and do sth else.

i dont hate on new mcu movies being giga boring when i know some of the kids will find it fun because of a novel concept-actors playing the hero (in their eyes)

yeah some fags with bad hairlines crying 80% of the movie and then a little bit of fighting, ugly kills

transformers had epic robots with unique personalities that sounded cool fighting all the time. still remember how shocking it felt seeing ironhide being teared apart, or the anxiety you felt in eachh fight bubmblebee got his ass kicked

its not the sole metric but it must reveal something

for start mcu has so many more movies than michael bay transformers (only 5 movies)

but its a different time, in the era of marvel domination more ppl went to the cinema for any kind of movie, now it will decline again. (talking about box office gross only)

but transformers back then was everywhere pretty much like marvel was a few years ago, ads , toys, video games, ice creams, clothes, lol
