It's cause of the imbalance in the gender ratio, there are more men per women. Indians, who are probably considered the lowest in terms of appeal to women on this site, can go to countries like Uzbekistan and pretty much get simped and fawned cause women are higher in number there(about 9,00,000 more women per men). And these aren't just baseless claims, one of my Indian friend's husband received 3-4 marriage proposals from women in a span of 1 week when he visited Uzbekistan.

The reality is that most humans will be hypergamous if they can, the only difference is that women can and men can't.
If you grow up being able to get with whoever you want, you're going to have higher standards.
If you grow up having to work very hard for scraps, you're going to take whatever you can get.

The biggest biological difference is that men desire women sexually more than the other way around. All other things are, for the most part, a result of that
