You’re going to keep seeing a rise in green values (psychedelics, eco-conscious, vegans, community over individuals, etc), culture will become even more liberal, and interest in spirituality will surface more and more, as a natural counterreaction to the current rampant materialist paradigm we’re currently in.
Materialism and individualism is reaching it’s saturation point which will push forward a new paradigm.

Alot will happen in the next 10-20 years. Probably more than you can now imagine.

I don't know about the West more broadly but the UK is absolutely fucked for a multitude of reasons, it's very likely that it wont exist in 10 years time

- The SNP will win a landslide in the Scottish elections next year and demand an independence referendum
- Brexit affects borders and peace process in Northern Ireland which will likely lead to a referendum on joining Ireland
- Even the Welsh independence movement is growing but that won't happen any time soon
- Brexit means long-term economic decline and zero influence in Europe
- Once Scotland and NI leave, the UK will end and England will become increasingly irrelevant and isolated
- The UK government are corrupt, incompetent, Dickensian, neoliberal parasites
- A decade of austerity and the second worst wage growth in Europe since '08
- Child poverty becoming so bad that the fucking UN did a report on it
- 8 of the 10 poorest places in Western Europe are here
- Longest working hours in Western Europe but low productivity
- It costs me under £30 to fly to Amsterdam but £90 to get a shit train to London, my own capital
