My theory is that if you can get through the shit of the 21st century the 22nd century will be pretty good. Life will be a lot easier and society will have a lot more techniques and general empathy for dealing with your problems. Here are some technologies and lifestyles that I think are plausible.
1. low-grade ai- I think the technology for low grade ai's and chatbots capable of almost perfectly mimicking humans will be possible. For an example, imagine having a language tutor that acts as a historical figure, a chatbot that simulates the personality of a character in a movie, video games that generate their own story, software that generates movies and stories from text etc.. I think most low level jobs like fastfood restauruants and convenience stores will also be completely automated in developed countries. Most high tech jobs like coding and engineering will also probably require ai tools along with human engineers.
2. Fusion power- I think the first fusion reactors will power up and suddenly make the cost of living a lot cheaper as well as create an economic boon. Vertical farming, massive industry, creating carbon out of atmospheric co2 will all become possibilities.
3. Robotic space travel- Sending robots into space and onto the moon will become pretty common place and big re useable rockets will become a reliable and basic tool in the industry. You will probably see the beginnings of an automatic lunar research facility and maybe a few space stations in orbit.
4. Phased array optics- Very high resolution 3d displays may start to become viable. This tech theoretically would also even allow hologram like displays projected from a device, which could only be seen by a single select user. Imagine being in an automatic petes coffee, watching ai generated porn tailored to your desire, using an auto fleshlight on your dick without anyone noticing a thing.
5. Preventative medicine- Preventative cures for male pattern baldness, cancers, heart disease and all the other maladies of old age will likely start to become available the same way antibiotics and vaccines cured the seemingly unbeatable diseases of the 20th and 19th centuries. Aging will become a lot more graceful and people will routinely be comfortable up until 100. I think true life extension will still be a ways off though. Radical appearance improvement also may become possible.
5. Much better culture- Culture will have matured beyond the childish cynicism and lunacy of the early 21st century. Societal problems will be dealt with both pragmatic effectiveness and compassion. People will learned from the failures of the selfish previous generations and figured out how to treat others with respect. I think people will become more socially conservative yet at the same time more progressive. E.g. people will date with the goal of marriage and family in mind yet be less likely to adhere to strict gender roles.
6. Universal basic income in the first world- With fusion power and powerful automation. True universal income will finally be realized in developed countries like japan, korea, and germany. People will be provided with modest housing and enough money for food. Being a legit rotter will be possible although such a lifestyle will not be generally pursued as society will seem like a far more welcoming place.
Now ik a bunch of ppl are going to say some bullshit how hypergamy is just going to get worse and trannys will takeover but I really doubt it.
