Second, the supposed Grand unified theory will be mathematical in natural. And Godel incompleteness theorem posits no mathemical system can ever be complete if it's consistent.

Third, the direction in which the research is going is entirely unscientific and illogical. Just look at renormalization and the M theory. No honest scientist would with that.

There is also no proof that it cannot be. In fact, evidence shows it is more likely that it can.

Godels theory does not apply to physics because physics is based on real observations of physical systems which are inherently provable.


The direction research is going in is limited by our current instruments and intellectual capabilities. Perhaps with access to higher energies such as from something like an orbital particle accelerator we might observe monopoles and be able to come up with a unified theory. Or maybe this sort of thing is literally incomprehensible to a human brain the same way newtons laws are incomprehensible to a chimpanzees brain and we need to build AI's that think differently than us.

Anyone claiming we currently have a "complete" understanding of physics is delusional.
