I finished reading the book a few days ago. I've heard normies say "omg its so deep" "I feel so bad for reading this omg!" but its really not that deep but the advice is genuinely useful tbh. Some of it will be water wet and others will be useful. I found a shortened down version from illacertus, and underneath the quotes from him I've put my own take on them or simplified them to make them easier to understand.
If you have a shit attention span and can't be bothered to read everything I've put in red the ones that are fudemental and are easy to understand and can be used in everyday life. or u can just read my inputs rather than the quotes if u want.
Law #1: Never Outshine the Master
"Nicolas Fouquet made the mistake of appearing larger than his King, Louis XIV, and spent his remaining days incarcerated. Avoid victories over superiors. It will cost you more than it is worth."
Masters include teachers, bosses, the leader of a social group, etc. Show people your value but without outshining the master. Stand up for yourself of course but only when needed and don't take anything futher than neccessary.
Law #2: Never Put too Much Trust in Friends, Learn How to Use Enemies

Treat friends as if they could turn their back on you at any moment. Don't give them too much or they'll run away without you. e.g. in Jake Paul's team 10 he made people go from nothing to celebrities. And because Jake gave them too much, despite all that he gave them they all split up and went their own ways for their own success. Another example is in The Bronx Tale, Sonny talks to the kid how he gives his men just enough money to survive but not enough that they could live without him.
Law #3: Conceal Your Intentions

I think the scenario above is terrible and really bluepilled tbh. Your intentions only hold value to you and only benefit you. There's almost never any point in sharing them with people. And if the intentions are bad and you tell someone them then that secret will obviously get out. Here's an example: you have a crush on Sofie in your friendgroup and you want to link them without being to straightforward. So u wanna build relations and experiences with them. So instead of asking Sofie out on a date where its just you and her, you ask to do an activity (e.g. bowling) with her and one other friend. But instead of telling that other friend "hey do u wanna come bowling with me and Sofie so I can link dat fatass bitch" you say "hey should you me and sofie go bowling? it will be fun" If you told the other friend your intentions he would've either let the secret out or compete for the girl too or he would've just not cared to come because it would've only been for your benefit and not his. Kinda an autistic example but at least it actually makes sense.
Law #4: Always Say Less than Necessary

Most ppl already know about this one. People won't be able to predict what you're gonna do, meaning they won't have any idea of how to prepare. Also, the less you say the more value your words have. I've noticed when Im watching Sidemen videos that when all 7 of them are playing GTA, people like Ethan, Josh, Vik and Simon are constantly talking whereas KSI and Harry, the two funniest and most liked people in the group, noticeably talk less and only speak when they have something funny and interesting to say. Tobi is an example of talking too little, or talking less than necessary but saying boring unfunny things when he does chose to speak.
Law #5: So Much Depends on Reputation - Guard It With Your Life

Having a good reputation means ppl will trust you and view you highly. Having a bad reputation means ppl won't trust you and will view as weak. Water wet.

Law #7: Get Others to Do the Work for You

Take this thread for example. Instead of going through the effort of finding parts of the text that are good for use and selecting them and then copying and pasting and organising n all dat I instead just copy and pasted someone elses work. And then I'm adding in my own inputs for my own pleasure. Make life easier for yourself. Work smarter not harder. Think of all the npc girls at college who get all the nerds to do their work for them.

Let your friend do all the talking. Ask them questions but to make it seem less like an interrogation jut in either with a witty response to make them laugh or build rapport by agreeing with them or saying you've had a similar experience n stuff. This way u can learn everything about someone and can predict what they gonna do and know if they're a danger to you n stuff.

I think the scenario above is terrible and really bluepilled tbh. Your intentions only hold value to you and only benefit you. There's almost never any point in sharing them with people. And if the intentions are bad and you tell someone them then that secret will obviously get out. Here's an example: you have a crush on Sofie in your friendgroup and you want to link them without being to straightforward. So u wanna build relations and experiences with them. So instead of asking Sofie out on a date where its just you and her, you ask to do an activity (e.g. bowling) with her and one other friend. But instead of telling that other friend "hey do u wanna come bowling with me and Sofie so I can link dat fatass bitch" you say "hey should you me and sofie go bowling? it will be fun" If you told the other friend your intentions he would've either let the secret out or compete for the girl too or he would've just not cared to come because it would've only been for your benefit and not his. Kinda an autistic example but at least it actually makes sense.

Jordan Belfort (the wolf of wall street) talked about this in his podcast once. he wanted to become a fininancial advisor at this big watch company or somethn like that. and instead of being a bitch and saying "where is the owner? how can i get hold of him?" he went straight in. He walked into a store and went straight to the cashier and called the owner by his full name and asked where he is. almost as if he was a friend of his. the cashier said he's in new york. so belfort went to the branch in new york and said "where is [the owners name] I need to speak to him?" because he said it with such confidence and conviction the cashier went and got him for him and they all trusted jordan.
