Everyone knows that it’s really hard to tell the difference between 5’11 and 6 feet IRL unless you compare them when they are extremely close together, but the psychological factor makes women think that the difference is huge, works the same way when stores put prices tags with 99.99$ instead of 100$.

This psychological difference only exists in countries that use the imperial system(the USA is the only one i think) because “6 feet minimum” sounds retarded when you translate it to the metric system, i’ve never heard any woman say “he has to be 182.88 cm tall minimum” it just sounds extremely autistic and specific.

You're right. It's 6'1 in the Netherlands, Germany, Scandinavia, and the Balkans.

Also, when you tell a girl your height on a dating app she most likely thinks you’re shorter because everyone lies. Even if she thinks you’re telling the truth she probably thinks 5’11 is shorter than it actually is because of all the 5’9 guys claiming that height. I don’t know why but fucking everyone claims 5’11 here when they’re clearly 5’9 or 5’10 max. I’m 182cm so 5’11 pushing 6’ and I can’t tell you the amount of times guys 2 inches shorter than me claim 5’11. In reality 5’11 is a perfectly acceptable height in person but you may be at a disadvantage claiming that on tinder.

There was a study linked here a while ago where American women were shown a lineup of men. The men had been measured but did not tell the women their height. The women were told to pick the ideal height and they picked 5’11 as the minimum and 6’2 as the peak.

More and more women demand 185 cm tho. 180 cm is increasingly being seen as a manlet

In Europe? It’s important to mention where you live when discussing height because the standard is different around the world. That’s why you have so many autistic threads in this forum consisting of Europeans and Americans arguing about height. 6’1 in a country with a 5’11 average is the equivalent of 5’11 in a country with a 5’9 average.
