Most of the technology was still there gaming still existed if you had money laying around. But most of the negative aspects of technology and the internet were not big either.

Only the most autistic weirdos who played WOW were chronically online nowadays even the most well adjusted people are chronically online. You got all the benefits of the internet with forums and information but it was still relatively obscure. Most normal people rarely used the internet outside of gaming flip phones were the only way to contact people there was no such thing as social media with your name and face.

Pretty much all the tech we have today still existed except it was limited to specific people and not a cultural thing. You could also still contact people through the internet if you wanted but it was not required for daily life

Online dating wasn't really a thing either things were so much better. Society died 2007-2012 somewhere around when most normies got cellphones. As soon as more internet devices were cellphones then computers things were fucked beyond repair

I was born 95 but still think the 90s and the 80s have the best decades man
