There used to be a time back in the day - unless you were Eminem, rap wasn't for you. It's a reserved black genre. It's like a white guy thinking he can outrun a black guy. Exceptions exist. But 99% need a slap today

It was started by blacks but a lot of black American culture is ultimately descended from the UK lower class. So it was only a matter of time, hip hop and the UK lower class are perfect for each other, literally made for each other.

Just like how forms of jazz and blues are very big in West Africa.
