I've been learning about personality disorders, and have had friendships and relationships with people who obviously satisfy the criteria of more than one. All of them had distinct advantages related specifically to those criteria. Are psychologists just butthurt that they're not histrionic psychopathic billionaire attention whores? Or is there really a downside? All I hear about is how difficult people with personality disorders are to deal with. Isn't that congruent with contemporary social values?
It seems like it would be an advantage for a man to have narcissistic personality "disorder." One of my hottest exs obviously had histrionic personality disorder, and it seemed to help her in some ways and not impair her.
