It's irrelevant anyway. The AFD would need to get 30%+ of the popular vote to even stand a chance of forming a government.

Even then it would probably be a shaky coalition with establishment parties whose support would be conditional on AFD watering down their key policies.

The whole post war state apparatus of Germany was literally designed to contain "far right" parties.

It was a great result for the AFD but nowhere near the threshold to form a government. Die Linke with half their vote share will have more influence over government policy than the AFD.
