i am 17 years old, which is considered fairly young, yet every passing year seems to get more and more miserable and i constantly feel like every “fun” or “enjoyable” part of life is rapidly deteriorating
im sure oldfags reading this will burst out laughing and reply with something among the lines of “you think you have it hard? wait until you hit x age” people like this should sit back and realize that we are all facing similar struggles simply in different phases, you are experiencing it as you read this thread, and i am imminently going to face the same fate

at 17 i consider my struggles with growing up mainly consisting of my growing hopelessness and acceptance of my fate. i am attending school at a fairly mediocre university for finance
and will likely end up being a cubicle jester for a mildly comfortable wage with a distasteful wife and bratty kids. struggling through 4 years of normie retard hell in university is not my cup of tea either, i barely found myself getting along with kids in my highschool, especially not those preppy university types.
the fact that my fate is so predictable and lacks any element of surprise really creates a void in my soul aswell. and my fate is the same old tale that a huge fraction of other men are currently living, or are going to in the future.
my wasted youth that i had all the freedom in the world during all flushed down the drain for worthless responsibilities that produce zero value other than meeting societal quotients and surviving “comfortably”
dnr water shitpost lmao just felt like venting
