Despite being a leftist an overwhelming majority of the people I seek entertainment from are obviously right wing. And it is extremely obvious to me that a huge amount of these influencers/entertainers funnel their right wing ideology through their content to their audience.

The 3 attributes of a political pipeline is Normalization, Acclimation and Dehumanization. And all 3 of these attributes can be found in the contents of these influencers except maybe the third one, but even in this respect the mainstream media dehumanises minorities anyway so theres really no need for these influences to hammer the nail that has already been hit.

Its weird how coincidentally 95% of right wingers I speak to online also consume content from creators that use their content to normalise and acclimate their audience to right wing talking points.

Oh yeah man, the mainstream media is soooo racist. I was just mentioning it to my African American friend after a polyamorous hangout with my gf (I was sitting out this time, but they had fun) he agreed with me wholeheartedly.

Anyway, I remember my brother was talking about playing the Nords faction in Skyrim after a youtuber he likes mentioned it in a video, and I was just thinking "WTF don't you know that Skyrim belongs to everyone who wants to live there, and actually the Nords aren't even indigenous to it so the land is stolen!" I made sure to give him a piece of my mind about it.

It's really scary how the alt-right pipeline gets to the young guys these days. They start out with Skyrim and end up with Joe Rogan and Tucker Carlson. Thankfully I have enough time to own the racist Magats on Twitter while I drink a soy milk latte from the comfort of my home amirite.
