I mean it's not really groundbreaking stuff, just follow/unfollow people until you've got a decent followers count and a followers/following ratio of at least 1, post a pic and rack up the likes. I did it because I realised normies (especially girls) found it weird not to have an instagram account and I legit missed some opportunities from tinder because of that.
I've got around 650 followers right now, I'll just stop caring once I reach 1k.

Follow all the Karadashians and pages associated with them,especially Kylie and Kendall.Then spam Kylie and Kendall's comment section telling people like for like follow for follow.

Took me a few months but it all depends how often you do it. Start by following people you know, then go on their account and follow people who follow them, then you do the same with people who just followed you back.
Make sure you follow people who don't have a ratio that's too much in their favor. If someone has 2k followers and 300 following he probably won't follow you back.
I do it on the web version and use an extension to track who doesn't follow me back so i can unfollow them to keep a good ratio.

I suggest posting one pic once you reach around 500 followers so people will be more inclined to follow you. You should rack up between 100 and 200 likes.
I usually post a few stories which I add to my highlights when I travel or do something cool, makes me seem more NT and it looks like I have a social life jfl.
And I have one post with several pictures (carousel post where you can add multiple pics in one post).
