"People mirror what you output” is something that actually helped me a lot in social situations as an autistic person.
I used to go in and hope for other people to start make conversation, and I think people picked up on that and acctually started to replicate that amount of output. When I started showing up a bit more calm and open and started giving output as well, people seemed to respond the same way back, and social situations flowed better.
Still suck at social situations
but it has definately helped a lot compared to other tips and tricks.
