I have been a beta for the last decade.

Actually I have been worse- a gamma (a beta who thinks he's an alpha).

A beta is someone who constantly suppresses his own natural drives and instincts to please others, because he thinks they will compromise in return and help him.

This is bullshit. It leads to you being trodden on CONSTANTLY and ending up seething and raging inside.

Now my beta habits are so ingrained that it is almost natural for me to suppress what I want to say/do/think because I am afraid of how others will react.

Everyone in my family subtly disrespects me (treat me like a little bitch who cant make decisions for myself) and people dont take me seriously.

In b4 people say 'only chad is alpha'.
There are ways to react to things you cant control. To choose the alpha way to react is always the right way.

Ie focus only on what you can control, improve in every way.

Also an introverted alpha is a sigma. If you cant be a full alpha that everyone will orbit around , be a sigma.
