If you're good looking it's insane.
You can talk about some boring subject and people are interested and even asking questions about it. But if you're average nobody cares at all and you're seen as some weirdo nerd.
Your opinion doesn't matter at all when you're not good looking. You're literally perceived as stupid automatically and especially compared to someone better looking. Doesn't matter what your background is.
If a good looking person has a hobby it's seen as cool and other people check it out automatically just because.
Your face literally determines how people react to you.
If you're average and nobody cares about your hobby, your insights in specific subjects are discounted, etc. Of course you're not gonna be confident in yourself, it's the most natural thing. If you are confident you'll be seen as some coping over compensating loser.
