Homelander didn't do shit. This nigga flew a nigga to space earlier in the episode in like 2s but couldn't fly away from butcher's tentacles at the oval office lmao.
And he was supposed to be 10 times more powerful because of V1 but he was held down by butcher and ryan. In season 3, he was held by Hughie, Butcher, and Soldier Boy, and he still managed to fly away.
And Deep's death didn't make any sense as well, how the fuck did he get killed by a random squid/octopus, that nigga was literally supposed to be impenetrable. He swam to the depths of the Mariana trench, tanking tons of pressure, but got killed by a fucking tentacle???
And when he was thrown into the ocean he couldn't even swim properly. How tf can a superhero whose whole character is based on water, that even went to the Mariana trench, not swim faster than a normal human????
