JFL now people are saying the boys’ ending was fake and the real one is coming out soon 🤣

Same thing happened with stranger things,

These shows are ending so badly that people are making up fake endings. Brutal.

the ending wasn’t that bad, didn’t even watch the entire finale season but it seems like they cramped in everything with fillers.

it was mainly the ‘scorched earth’ marketing and promotional art that made people think that, shouldn’t have falsely advertised that. the entire point of the ‘the boys’ was supposed to be humans against supes, not some superhero fest showdown. happens when you falsely advertise the final season to be something it’s clearly not.

They made it underwhelming. Very little actual action.

I think once again they were stingy with the budget.

didn't the show edge that the whole series ?
should’ve ended at around season 1 or season 3, after that it started feeling like they were stretching the story way past its natural limit. the biggest issue with writing a character like homelander is that he’s too powerful for the plot to keep functioning long term. eventually the writers either have to let him completely win and destroy everything, or they have to keep making excuses for why he suddenly hesitates, makes low iq decisions, or forgets abilities he clearly had before. biggest issue with the final season, nerfed tremendously.

they probably knew it’d garner watchers regardless since it’s the final season, people would watch it regardless out of curiosity and sunk cost alone after being invested for years. that’s why a lot of finale seasons in big shows start feeling smaller in scale despite the stakes supposedly being the biggest they’ve ever been. they market it like the world is ending but then most scenes are still just people talking in rooms, side plots dragging on, or reused locations because actually showing large scale destruction, chaos, riots, military responses, or full powered fights costs insane amounts of money. shouldn’t have done the “scorched earth” marketing in the first place, falsely advertising. everything’s liberal propaganda regardless these days, they clearly wrote homelander to be a parody of trump in the later seasons, he’s so much of a different character in the first season where he felt like a genuine terrifying narcissist .

Season 1 Homelander was a terrifying villain. Should’ve kept that vibe. They always have to appease the woke lunatics though.

People need to get fed up with these shit endings. I’ve stopped bothering to watch new shows now tbh. All the endings are shit

i think it was 2016 that made these blue haired angry activists completely explode online when trump won, then all the messaging started getting shoved into every sort of media imaginable, shows, games, movies, even random franchises that had nothing to do with politics before. then it ramped up insanely hard in 2020 when corporations realized they could just play it safe and follow whatever the loudest online groups wanted. nothing feels as unsanitized or raw as it did back then anymore. western media in general is catered to blue people, even if it’s subtle it’s clearly there, no more creative thinking or freedom of writing it had way before 2016. writers stopped having actual creative freedom and now everything has to go through layers of corporate filtering, sensitivity checking, social media approval, and “don’t offend this group” discussions before anything even gets released. everything going forward is now just pr approved with DEI written to avoid backlash by a certain group of people.
