It had potential but not for a great show, it could of been a decent 5-6/10 and maybe even a 7 but they threw it all out the window

I figured this out after season 2. Specifically I stopped watching the show, and I don't watch anything Seth Rogan is associated with.

Generally, almost all SciFi series end up devolving into nonsense because they are making the shit up on the fly, and don't have a preplanned story arch. Because it is SciFi they can make up anything, and early on they make up extraordinary shit to stimulate interest, but then later on they realize the extraordinary shit they made up early on is not conducive to a good storyline so they drop it. Then they make up different extraordinary shit, that in retrospect, makes no sense that the new extraordinary shit was not utilized early on in the series.
