The only reason you find it brutal is bc you grew up with certain expectations.

Expectations fed to you by the media and disney and all that. The expectation that social interaction and character alone would have let you win.

If you had known bp since the beginning, and never even watched a disney movie, you would have accepted it and done your best to improve, regardless of where you stood

In fact you may have also been thankful you knew the truth and others didn’t, like you have a cool advantage. (Hint: you do right now)

Jesus saves God bless

(Also inb4 “how you Christian and believe in blackpill??” You are ignorant and just talk without seeking evidence. We need less people like you.)

The bp itself is biblical

“But the Lord said to Samuel, “Do not consider his appearance or his height, for I have rejected him. The Lord does not look at the things people look at. People look at the outward appearance, but the Lord looks at the heart.”

The bible does not deny looks matter, its following Jesus will over your own.

Yet again Christianity checks out.

For the sake of simplifying let's break down the terms

"Blackpill" ~ Realization that success in life is significantly factored by appearance, and then realizing you don't reach the bar to succeed

In Problem of Evil terms, people are born with features that are not simply psychological traits that are to be "worked" on (God gives toughest battles to his toughest soldiers as they say), but from-birth-problems. Though not entirely equal, this can be pretty much analogous to the EPOE from cancer.

Of course it depends how you define omnibenevolent, if you take "all loving" to be reduction of suffering or actualizing the best possible world (in which "best" is based on the same human standards that are used to determine that god is all loving), then the existence of the Blackpill dilemma would be a contradiction with omnibenevolence, and of course an unresolved contradiction in the foundation of a worldview means that worldview is false.

Let's flip this around though because you're a Christchud:

What's the line of reasoning, argument, or data that justifies the belief in the Christian god (+ your denomination) :trepidation:

based on OPs past answers I'm not very optimistic about getting a well-structured thought-out explanation as to why its true

Ill give him the benefit of the doubt on that though, he might've just been stating it without giving an explanation. Normally majority of christians would spew a bunch of BS and/or get insanely mad at you

I agree completely; when you put it like this life makes a lot more sense. The BP is real but go transcends it, and looks only matter on this Earth.
