-unless you are part of the elite the resources of your country don't belong to you
the whole idea of owning the resources of your country is European.
-these rocks have no intrinsic value it's what you do with it
-India before was hell they lived under terrible rule and were poor slaves/meat cattle
-they are starving now the same way they did before and during the rule of the Empire
-Now all is left is the advantages Europeans brought which even tho the countries regressed a lot after the whites left they still have had societal changes
-The British empire was historically progressive, they were refuges seeking better living conditions and bringing diversity and culture with them
-these people fought each other for hundreds of years over power for no less noble reason than the colonizers who did they same
