It takes soo fucking long, I've been in decomp braces for 2 months now and fuck I just want to get the fucking surgery tomorrow.. I'll need a total of 1.5 years of decomp most likely, I asked the ortho if it could maybe take a little less, she said maybe but unlikely. Fuck even 3 months would be a huge win. Like fuck I'd pay triple the price for some magic way to have it next week.

Yeah fuck RIP all of you motherfuckers who plan to get jaw surgery and ya'll aint even in braces yet. At least the braces assure me that I'm 100% getting the surgery.

I'm also talking to Dr. Eren Pera, so maybe I'll go for a surgery-first approach but Ik its a bit of unpredictable and kind of shitty approach... Idk...

And yes I'm listening to Cigarettes After Sex RN lol because thats what I do when I get sad .

Surgery planning will take place close to the end of decomp, its too early for that. But yes the ortho told me I will get maxillary advancement with a small impaction. My lower jaw is fine already fortunately.

Surgeon initially said that she doesnt want to touch my lower jaw because its good already, ortho initially gave an option for DJS with a small lower jaw setback, which me and the surgeon disagreed with.

I just got diagnosed results from my sleep study with moderate OSA. So he’s making me try cpap for a month to document I tried, then I can get my scans hopefully no decomp needed. I consulted with a maxfac and he said my bite is perfect prob won’t need anything
