you are expected to go to school from age 1- 18 then need another 4 years minimum to get a college degree

to get an entry level job

but in todays age no one wants to try new college graduates so u need 1-3 years of EXPERIENCE before u can even get an entry level role

and the job itself is a dead end job after u get it

dead end = no room for growth or transferable skills

these days companies have tailored the role to fit their PRODUCT only

so if u out of a job u will be back to square one looking to gain EXP

then you work from age 22 to 65 or 75 40 hours a week 52 weeks a year if u born in the last decade before u can retire to get social security /pension

all depends on your work, i know people working 10 hours a week remote making 130k+ right out of college, those same people had the choice to make 220k+ at 40 hours a week onsite but still took the 130k . A job doesn't have to be deadend a lot of companies offer education benefits but people don't take it. Internships give you 1-3 yoe i guess but most people dont try for internships and then blame it on the process
