a time machine sounds crazier than a camera right?
go back 500 years and try explaining a camera to someone. a tiny device that freezes a moment of reality forever. captures light. stores it. sends it across the world instantly. that would sound like actual witchcraft.
a time machine at least has intuitive logic time flows, maybe you reverse it. but freezing light onto glass? that should've been the impossible one.
