One thing I think people massively underestimate in looksmaxxing is the charisma pill.
I have friends where, objectively, I can mog them in certain aspects. Better facial harmony, better physique, better grooming etc. But put us in the same room and somehow they’re still the one people naturally gravitate towards.
And I don’t think it’s always some secret social skill they learned. Sometimes they just seem to have better brain chemistry for it. They’re naturally more socially fluid, more spontaneous, more emotionally expressive, less self-conscious, whatever. You can literally see that they don’t have to think about how they’re coming across.
For me, being neurodivergent makes this especially noticeable. I can consciously improve my social skills and become more charismatic, but there’s still a layer of effort involved that some people just don’t seem to have.
That’s why I think the whole “just take X drug/supplement and become high T/high dopamine and you’ll be charismatic” thing is oversimplified. Chemistry obviously affects personality and social behaviour, but you can’t necessarily pharmacologically turn yourself into someone whose baseline temperament is completely different.
You can improve your looks. You can improve your social skills. You can improve your confidence. But sometimes someone just has that natural social presence that you can’t fully replicate.
Just be confident
Brutal pill, but imo it’s a real one.
