Apparently according to islam before we were born Allah showed us our life and asked "you sure this is the one you want" and we said yes

thus the problem of evil no longer makes sense since we asked to be put here.

this doesnt really make sense to me tbh

"hey you sure u want to be incarnated as a starving african child and not a 6'5 8psl north atlantid demi-god"

maybe (theoretically speaking) we saw how we would succeed and get into paradise

that could be a part of it

@shia.jihadist ?

this thread is tales lol

the way we "get around the problem of evil" is that everyone is here to be tested and we are tested by this "evil"

black Africans are usually christian

So even if the kid makes it adulthood they’d still end up in hell

iirc in islam anyone can get into paradise aslong as they are a believer and regret their sins
not sure about christianity (didnt grow up christian)

the problem of evil is that if god exists why do bad things happen

they happen because the whole point is that we are being tested on our faith is the face of bad things happening

firstly many people don’t even make it to the “test” they just die as an infant

Secondly the tests aren’t equal

Chads test:

wait thats legit maybe thoughts shia.jihadist?

I mean like whats the purpose if setting you up on this world just for you not being able to do the test either way

or is it like a necessity for other people to do the test because obviously without babies being able to die this reality wouldnt make sense. is it understandable what I'm trying to say?

okay they get heaven for free good for them
That shows that Allah isn’t fair then

Why do some people get into heaven free?

there are many stories of God revealing himself to people

If God revealed him self to me id 100% become Muslim in an instant

And yet he doesn’t, it seems God plays favorites

did God not reveal himself to Muhammad?

when I say reveal I dont mean literally show himself as in what he looks like but make his presence known

obviously:feelsuhh:

your iq is too low for this conversation

the problem is it shows God plays favorites

if God were truly just hed give everyone an equal shot at making it to heaven

and yet he doesnt

he plays favorites

he creates people that are literally fated to go to hell

how the fuck uncontacted tribes suppose to get to heaven?

no one is fated to go to hell we literally control our actions

if someone dies without hearing about islam they dont go to hell lol this is a mainstream islamic belief

muh too low iq when you dont know anything about the religion you're trying to debate
just stick to r/atheism :feelsuhh:

you realize this still shows that God plays favorites right?

its still unfair to fate people to get into heaven as it is to fate someone into hell

no they get tested on the day of judgement

muh "fate" lol :lul: wait till you realise the whole point is that we dictate our fate

if we were "fated" into hell then god wouldnt be just

no they get tested on the day of judgement
tested on what exactly?

if they were a good person?

and if they were they get into heaven

also you said that infants who die prematurely get into heaven free now were at the same problem as this
its still unfair to fate people to get into heaven as it is to fate someone into hell

no tested as in a trial will be presented and they decide their action

like for example maybe god says jump in this pool of lava

if you do it in obedience to god you go to heaven and if you dont you go to hell

also you said that infants who die prematurely get into heaven free now were at the same problem as this
thats not the same because their entire purpose was to be a test for their parents or for someone else

they go to heaven for free just like angels and other creatures who live in heaven

can I get a source from an islamic text that says this is the case?

thats not the same because their entire purpose was to be a test for their parents or for someone else
their purpose is irrelevant

theyre still getting into heaven free which is unfair

its like if a teacher automatically passes a student the reason doesnt matter its unfair either

Al-Haafiz Ibn Hajar said, discussing the different points of view on this topic:

… They will be tested in the Hereafter by having a fire caused to appear before them. Whoever enters it will find it cool and safe, and whoever refuses will be punished. This was narrated by al-Bazzaar from the hadith of Anas and Abu Sa’eed, and it was narrated by al-Tabaraani from the hadith of Mu’aadh ibn Jabal. The issue of being tested has been proven in the case of one who is insane and the one who died during the fatrah (interval between two Prophets) via saheeh isnaads. Al-Bayhaqi stated in Kitaab al-I’tiqaad that it is the correct view.

so God chooses to test some humans and not others?

why? thats still unfair

and even if you have heard about islam that doesnt prove that everyone has an equal chance

if youre born into a christian country youre more likely to be christian, an athesit country an atheist etc

and people have different experiences, brain chemistry, genes which influence their choices

so God still plays favorites

How? god also doesnt test angels or hoors or animals

its unjust if he tests some more than others, its not unfair if someone isnt part of the test

like it says you have to be told about islam in such a way that if you were sincere you would recognise it as the truth

now its up to you whether you choose to be blinded because you aren't sincere in a search for truth

if you're not taught about it properly then its the same as a person who doesnt know about islam at all

ok i'm getting off now i'll respond tomorrow if you say something

Muslims legit bekive in predeterminism.

Especially Sunni Muslims it’s part of their creed of faith they have to bekive in it. So yes Allah is unfair and literally makes people for hell

And even their Quran says he creates some people snd Djins to sent to hell :p:p yep and you cannot stop any of it from Muslim god is real and we aren’t Muslims it’s because Allah wants us to go hell

But it seems for some reason I wanted to be born an ugly ethnic kafir

Atleast you will make it to jannah 😚
