This is a possibility. The media in someway learned that the father had an address listed as that address in San Diego. So the media goes and stakes out that address. The guy in the video figures out what is going on. The guy in the video may have gotten fucked over somehow by the actual father, so he concocts a scheme to pretend to be the father in order to A.) smear the actual father B) make some political statement.

they should have not taken the chance and ended him early. as soon as he got tackled and went for the gun, the richard guy should have killed him with hes hand-gun.

I know this is water, but this is clearly an agenda.

Looks to be hired by media to push political tropes and such. Its obvious when he states hes a conservatives republican. Then you will have top comments by the other side saying how hes the face of such people, winning the alphabet peoples vote (plus the beta and womens vote who agree with such false righteousness). Not just the vote either, but general approval for the future agendas they put on the people or want them to agree on. Swaying peoples emotions and thoughts and embedding tropes artificially.

I mean, its way too extreme and insensitive to be a natural response. The real natural response would be to stay quiet due to legal implications at worst.

He has not seen the son in many years so there could not be any legal implications. But that reminds me of his comment that he said something about his lawyer not telling him something, it makes no sense he would be getting his information on the shooting from a lawyer. And it seems to be a very slummy area, bars on the windows, so he doesn't seem to be economically positioned to need or be able to afford a lawyer. I would say it is possible he hired a lawyer to negotiate a deal with a media company to tell his story, but then why would he be talking to some news reporter for free.
