the british empire had big dreams, they thought they could take over the whole world, force their religions upon natives, attempts to "civilize" cultures who were more true to nature
and it was not only them who colonized, dutch VOC and portoguese who imo were the only colonizers who arent being replaced strangely enough, seems the brits developed a new kind of guilt after a certain time, destroying the ideas of colonialism de-primitising people is another thread
even the americas, its a whole bundle of violence beyond what the world has seen, just to be in the same position of europeans, and then theyre retreats into liberalism
even if modern white supremacists are to grow in popularity, now that those ethnics are more aware of their position in the world, and their roles, i think its different then anything pre-colonialism
but isnt it funny, how not even 500 or 1000 years after the british empire, the west is already being conquered by the same countries they ought to colonize, the whole of the uk except some parts prob muzzie, the whole of uk except some parts prob not even 50% white, and then this replacement streches from west to eastern europe, however, the slavic countries not so much prob bc they werent into colonialism as much as western europe
legit the only non colonized parts of the world by ethnics rn is asia, south america and africa, well obv bc immagrants get imported from those countries but this speaks volumes to how superior eastern culture and religion is, they are so much better!!
