1. It will be much harder to find the time and money to improve

I myself plan for a HT but I need to get stable on fin first. There is a very real possibility that I won't be able to do it because the economy will be in shambles when I'm finally ready for it.

I think how you should best handle this probably is too dependent on your own current context, if you're working already or still in school or have assets and whatever. I know for example that it's really shit for your career if you graduate into a recession

Only 1 mayor economic thing I experienced so far. The 2008-2013 recession time, with banks collapsing was big. All the rest of times, only small fluctuations. And the West still mogging economically.

it could happen. but there were a lot of false alarms with this one IMO.
in many countries things got crazy with COVID measures, economically and otherwise. but nothing really got better dating wise, if anything it got even worse as society became more closed off than ever before. people would keep talking to the same people they were talking to. and not to anyone else. especially women. and things moved online more, not less. average men are disadvantaged online.

this ties in to my theory, that our dying society may never actually "open up" again unless civilization collapses and the internet goes offline permanently.
like i just don't see why the average woman would stop interacting outside of her closed average social group that already has 2-3 chads and some decent-looking and perfectly subservient beta simps.
just why? because gas is a little more expensive? lol.

clothing has been made very cheap. food has been made very cheap (and unhealthy). and owning a mobile phone with internet is accessible even to fucking hobos living on the streets.
