The competition is insane?

I’m always scrolling through linkedin R/Financial careers and WSO and the competition is actually insane you have people with all top grades in High school Kings award/Queens award who attend top Universities Imperial/Harvard and LSE who also have incredible connections and wealth. They have top internships at BB banks that they got at the age of 17 through connections. How do you even compete against this( ?

You really don't unless you get rare/valuable skills that these top companies want and you try to network yourself and build connections.

Life was never fair anyway man
