The thought of me just vanishing is genuinely scary. How does that happen? I can't fathom me not existing; I only know how it is to exist. The person I am right now, all the thoughts I have, all my plans, my obsession over my looks, everything I've ever been, everything I'll ever be it's all nothing; it's not real. What is real even? The idea of there being nothing after death, just eternal darkness, inevitably makes life as a whole pointless to me. Why is existence even a thing?

Nothing after death sounds a bit nonsensical imo so no

I try to cope with religion, but who knows what actually happens?, and that's what's horrifying about it

Liberation. That’s how I view death. A freeing idea

ong bro i have that feeling all the time. Whenever someone just says "it'll just be what you were before you were born" so fucking nothing? such a bs cope phrase and it pisses me off. Idk for anyone else but the thought of it gives me little millisecond panic attacks and then i'm back to coping to it. death is fucked.

freeing from what? existence? I dont want that. But its inevitable. but why is existence even a thing if it all just ends and vanishes like its never been?

I mean, yeah, why was I even born to begin with? Why was I given consciousness only for it to be all gone after, for eternity? and me being aware that it could happen at any moment, literally any second, I could die right now u could too. Would've been better not knowing that.

It's complete nothingness, we live good lives or bad lives but we all die and return to the earth, in my opinion it's what makes life so beautiful, a liberation from everything, permanently

It’s freeing from suffering.

It's 5 am for me, and I haven't even slept, thinking about this

That's what I'm saying: for example, this whole looks thing doesn't matter because life as a whole DOES NOT MATTER; it's not real
Well, yes, but looking at it from another light, everything matters, everything can hold importance to someone whilst they are alive

Like the fact that once time passes we will never experience it ever again, it just scares me. We will never get to be younger again, our lives are just a ticking timer waiting for us to slowly expire away

Really really creepy

I never want to get old for sure, though I don't mind dying (hard to say that without sounding like a genuine cuck though)

Death is a concept literally no one could possibly comprehend. It's hard to describe. No one knows what actually happens, and you get what I mean.
