I came across this article and it makes a lot of sense. Interestingly, the Pentagon announced the deployment of 7000 troops to Germany today...

Which was exactly what the US wanted. This was quite literally a game of 4D chess, and America came out on top.

Unless of course Germany pulls a U-turn and reopens it.

makes a lot of sense. the US wants to keep it's military bases in europe and the closer europe and their neighbour get, the less is the need for foreign imperial troops within our own countries.

na, we only halted it for now, after the US unsuccessfully tried to kill it for 5 years. give it 2-3 years and gas will flow, otherwise our government will get over-thrown because of the exorbitant energy prices. they just delayed it for a few more years

The worst part for the US is the economic implications. Europe depending less on the US economically and trading with it's own currency or one other than the dollar is guaranteed to lead to a decline in it's value.

if europe moves away from SWIFT, the international monetary transfer system, that operates on dollars, the US will see all national banks in the world sell their dollar reserves and the USD will go into free-fall. worthless over night and put them into the biggest economic crisis they've ever seen.

Lybia tried it with the golden dinar and got bombed for it, glad russia, a much stronger country, is taking the same step

100% agreed.

I can't wait to see the world freed from America's hegemony. It's time for the world to be able to do as it likes.

Now is a good time for China to pounce on Taiwan. The US won't be capable of dealing with both problems at the same time with maximum efficiency. Media coverage would be divided on both issues too so neither China nor Russia receive full criticism.

Libya was crazy. The level of panic displayed by the US showed the entire world just how much of a problem an alternative monetary system is to it.

I'm hearing there's plans to actively eject Russia from swift due to recent events. I think this is a big mistake because it will force Russia to create an alternative.

Yeah retarded sub 90iq guys here and normies don't understand what this conflict is all about, it isn't Russia hating on the West, they hate the USA because they are a disgusting hell hole that has toppled regimes in latin america, made instability in middle east with the arab springs, problems in Asia and Africa, controlling once powerful European countries like sex slaves.

In Dugin's book, he perfectly explains how Russia would addore if France and Germany are independent from US influence and utterly dominate Europe, while Russia just wants Belarus and Ukraine for numerous historical and cultural reasons

China as well I believe, as well as their own centralised cryptocurrency. These guys have been prepping hard for the USA's inevitable collapse. It's not unreasonable to expect a China-Russia-Europe tripolar world order once America declines below them.

Good point. Germany's legacy of electing green governments time and time again has fucked them over to the point where they've closed most of their coal-fired power plants and nuclear power stations and as a consequence, are now fully dependent upon natural gas to power their industries. Where does the gas come from? Bingo, Russia.

The EU, not just Germany, are totally dependent upon Russian gas which is yet another reason why the West will not intervene.

lavrov, the russian foreign minister always jokingly says during press briefings if he should talk to europeans first or if he can talk to the US right away, as they over-rule every decision they make :lul:

sadly you guys don't speak german

when Putin got freshly elected as russian president in 2001 he held a speech in the german parliament, IN GERMAN, asking the politicians to build upon the historical friendship of europeans and russians, to leave the cold-war days behind and build a prosperous future together. such a moving, sincere and honest speech, that of course couldn't be accepted by the americans

Germany doesn't really need Russian gas.
it does, that's why they built Nordstream2. they can get gas from other sources, but not if they want to keep prices low or risk an uprising if they let energy prices spiral out of control

Putins goal and Russian realpolitik 21st century interests are only for EUROPE to be its own strong alliance headed by Germany and France and Russia in the east to keep the balance in Europe. You can confidently see normie iq on reddit where they legit think Putin is a maniac and would invade the baltics and Poland for absolute no reason :feelskek:, if NATO and the US never had influence in Europe, Russia wouldn't give two shits about any European country except Belarus and Ukraine and this is something that is deeply important in Russian history, these 2 terroritories were always natural Russian border zones to hold of any invasions and keep a political balance in Europe.

France and Germany jointly controling Western and Southern Europe, Russia monitoring Eastern Europe, China monitoring Asia, and the USA monitoring the Americas. This is Putins ideal

Russia's goal has always been to restore the balance of power that was around before America. To shift the centre stage of global politics back to Europe, even if it means sacrifice on their part. I admire their firm principles and willingness to do so.

Normie narrative of geopolitics is hilarious. They see death and go wild and point fingers.

Death is only a statistic in the game of power. It is more of a number that determines whether you are winning or losing to the rulers.

Usa will 100% go to extreme lengths to protect the dollar. Even if it means nuclear war. The Jews would rather burn the world to the ground than lose their loyal servant (USA). And thus their control and world power

Looking at the trajectory of the USA, I think that nukes are definitely on the menu within the next couple of decades.

It makes sense. There's probably a few strategic benefits to taking Ukraine.

I can't find anything in search, but didn't Russia Take over Turkey and install a dictatorship or something? I remember they took Crimea also.

"in his book the New Cold War: Putin's Russia and the Threat to the West, published 2008, Edward Lucas stated that "though Nord Stream's backers insist that the project is business pure and simple, this would be easier to believe if it were more transparent."[122] In the report published by the Fridtjof Nansen Institute in 2008, Norwegian researcher Bendik Solum Whist noted that Nord Stream AG was incorporated in Switzerland, "whose strict banking secrecy laws makes the project less transparent than it would have been if based within the EU".[122] Secondly, the Russian energy sector "in general lacks transparency" and Gazprom "is no exception".[122]"
