billions are invested into research about biological aging every year. with the use of ai, we can speed up scientific discoveries much faster

considering that development is exponential, we may be much closer to a cure for aging than we think

today might just be the worst day to die in human history. there are many exciting things that could be achieved in the near future. even if life is crap rn i don’t want to die anytime soon

i really want to experience 2050

maybe if we hit the singularity and develop ai that could be smarter than every human on earth
tbh idk thats a theory

Staying 30 years old forever would be great, but it’s pretty unlikely to happen. You can see wars and viruses being used to reduce the human population. If we stopped aging or started living much longer, the population would keep increasing, and the planet’s resources might not be enough for everyone. Poverty could increase, and we might also start destroying more forests to build houses and cities. In the end, the environment could get worse, and the world could potentially collapse.

that’s a real issue sure

im not necessarily talking about immortality but rather slowing or stopping the signs of physical and mental aging. like you could be 80 years old but look and feel and think like you’re 30

the global birth rate fall doesn’t seem to be changing anytime soon. most people are generally choosing to have less kids or none at all. adoption can also be a good alternative

also i think people should have an option to still die naturally if they want to. not everyone wants to live forever
