No it is the reality. $250K in the Bay Area isn't what people think it is. After federal + CA state taxes, you're left with maybe $150K and A modest home is $1.5-2M easily. Most tech workers are also in this range and none of them are rich. You are not rich. You just living in high cost sandbox. That's why the "real rich" don't work for paychecks. This is literally middle class income in many places in CA.I have no issue with you but this post is so misleading and flat out misinformation that it makes me wonder why you would even post it?
