Perhaps it wasn't fair at one time when someone dies and POOF! They're gone. Perhaps when we die, we don't know that we have. And live on in others' dreams and alongside subconscious clones of them. Perhaps when you die. Everything's the same but some things are a little off. And you can tell! But you just can't place your finger on it. And so the people you're around. Some are also dead. And the others are subconscious clones of the living. So when the living dream, they see you. Though not knowing you're still living with their duplicates.
