Whenever I look at a team lineup for some premier league or champions league game, aside from the major names that were wonderkids pre 2020, I don't know who any of these fags are nor is there anything memorable about any of them

I just looked at some journos combined PSG/Arsenal team, and the only fags names that I recognize are Rice and Dembele

Anyone who watched champions league finals from 2005-2012 can probably name most of the starting 11 on both teams

I expect anyone who watches this shit will barely be able to remember any of them in 5 years

There can't be anything memorable about these fuckers because even their names are shit

Why did every player back in the day seem like a memorable character?

Even Gilberto Silva, probably one of the most dull players to ever play for Brazil, is more memorable character to me than the majority of the most exciting attacking players in the game today

Because I've completely lost touch with whats going on and all of these goons look unmemorable to me must mean they suck

Where the fuck are the Ronaldinho, Eto'o, Figo, Kaka, Torres type players?

To tie this int PSL, usernames used to come with a backstory, a character and memories
Now it's all just indistinguishable mush (as are football players today)
