26m to 35mm Is even 10x of a bigger difference than going from 35mm to 60mm

Hell even going from 26mm to 28mm is almost bigger than a difference than going to 50mm

Every iPhone now is 26mm for back cam and 23mm for front camera

I’ve tested out an old iPhone 6, both pics taken from back camera and 10-20 feet away and my face looks completely different on the new iphone. I look crazy good on the 6

Keep in mind I was 10-20 feet back in both phones and yet I still looked extremely different. barrel distortion of the face still affects you even if you’re 20 feet back.

iPhone 6- 35mm

New iphone- 26mm

The Iphone 14 pro I think has a portrait mode that simulates a 48mm lens. You can try this phone, I think its the best one. Google Pixel is very good too

Depends, if you’re a low ESR cel the short focal length can help you

Low ESR cels like me look best up close. Helps me get close to my oneitis. While other guys lose PSL as they get closer to an observer, I gain PSL. But my PSL starting point is 2/10.

It called telephoto

Not sure how good the actual telephoto lens are though. I used an old one on an 8 and it comes out blurry af in bad lighting

Are u talking about ipd? Idk wtf esr is.

I have close set eyes even though they look a tad bit closer I look better

I notice I look better at 35mm than I do at 55mm. But I look 1000x better at 35mm than I do at 26mm
