i heard back in the day royal families believed they were related to demigods/giants and that's why they valued keeping their bloodlines pure so they don't lose it. These specific bloodlines is what gives them the right to rule, it validates their superiority over normal folk. It's strange to us commoners but that's what ive heard. I thought they preserved their bloodlines due to generational wealth.

I also heard that in most civilizations the highest possition of power isnt king or queen or president, its like some sort of wizard/witch or something. I heard they councel and command the king. This wizard/witch is single handidly more powerful then anyone in the hierarchy simply due to their prestige in witchcraft ig. It sounds like a fairytale lmao

cool post, i thought that the people whom were more powerful than the king or queen were most often related to the religion of the area for example popes dukes and bishops.
