The duckface cope

Am I the only one who's only just figured out that the reason why so many people do duckface in photos is because it creates the illusion of good mid-facial and lower-third development?

You're -

1) Jutting your jaw out to give a more forward face and a tighter jawline
2) Sucking in your cheeks to contour the mid-face and make cheekbones pop
3) Pushing out your top lip to insinuate good maxilla projection

It's just a shame that it makes your mouth look like an orangatang's anus and shaves a good 50 points off your IQ.

Same thing with filters, angles, lighting.

Christ I have a friend who's always posting selfies of himself, sometimes changing his profile pic four or five times a day but each time it's the exact same pic with slightly different angle, lighting etc, as if he's experimenting until he hits that magical looksmaxing combination of time and space that makes him look chad.
