Exaggerated. The average height PEAKS at 6'1 in the Dinaric Alps, but is lower elsewhere. The average Balkan Turk is certainly not 6'1 on average.

And yes, Eastern Thrace IS in the Balkans. There are more Eastern Thracians than Greeks in Greece and Bulgarians in Bulgaria combined.

The thing is outside you arent gonna see the 5 5 and 5 7 dudes that would bring the aveatage down.
