The economics of happiness: Why getting a GF is so important to me

The only way I can be happy is if I get a loving GF. This isn't even a rare experience from my understanding. Half of my friends, mostly normies have loving GFs and seem to be happy. I spend all day miserable and longing for a GF, or even a random fling. But girls all seem to hate and despise me. Because I don't have a GF or sexual success, I am automatically lower on the social totem, ruining any happiness I get from my male friends. I don't need to worry about money for now, so all my material needs are fulfilled. But I feel empty, tormented and depressed because at the end of the day I don't have a GF I can have sex with or even just sleep with in my room. It's fundamentally unfair and seeing couples in my campus makes me extremely depressed. I don't know what else to do atp.
