Read this thread first:
why eye shape isn't everything

Eye-area framing
The eyes are not viewd in isolation. They are perceived as part of the surrounding periocular regio, which includes the eyebrows, eyelids, lashes and adjacent bone structure. Research on facial recognition consistently shows that the periocular region is among the MOST visually important areas of the face.

> This is why two people with similar eyes can have dramatically different levels of rating points/attractiveness
The difference is iften the frame.

What is eye-area framing?
Eye area framing refers to the structures of surrounding the eyes that influence how the eyes are perceived.

The most important components of framing:

- Eyebrow postition (arch, etc)
- Eyebrwo density
- UUE
- Hooding
- Brow ridge
- Eye to brow distance

When these features work together the eyes appear:

- More focused
- More "masculine"
- More "intense"
- More "dominant"

When they work agaist each other EVEN good eyes can appear weaker.

Upper eyelid exposure (UUE)
UUE refers to the amount of visible upper eyelid between the eyelashes and eyebrows

In most male aesthetic discussions. lower UUE is perferred (MOSTLY) because it creates a more compact and focused appearance. This is one of the commonly discussed traits in high rated eye area analyses

High UEE

- More visible upper eyelid
- More open appearance
- Less compact eye area

Low UEE

- Reduced visible eyelid
- More compact appearnce
- Greater perceived intensity

The key point is moderation
The goal is not to force a permanent squint and looking like a fucking dumbass.

The goal is naturally favorable eyelid structure.

Hooding
Hooding occurs when tissue beneath the eyebrow partially covers the upper eyelid

One reason hooding is valued is because it naturally reduces UEE

This creates:

- Visual compactness
- Stronger eye framing
- Greater perceived depth

Many of the eye areas frequently praised on here combine low UEE with MODERATE hooding.

Why eyebrows matter more than most people think
A common mistake is evaluating eyes without considering the eyebrows (water)

Eyebrows function as the frame of the eye area.
Several eye area guides will point out that eyebrows can completely alter the appearance of otherwise identical eyes.

Here is a good guide to use for your eyebrows if you have't already seen it:
The eyebrowmaxxing guide go ahead and read it. it has everything you need to know.

The importance of compactness
One recurring theme in all eye area duscussuins is compactness.

compactness refers to minimizing unnecessary vertical distance within the eye area

Generally speaking:

- Lower brows
- Lower UEE
- Moderate hooding

all contribute to a more compact eye area/appearance.

Many highly rated eye areas share this characteristic despite having otherwise different features.

Practical improvements
While bone structure is largely genetic, several aspects of the eye area framing can be improved.

Eyebrow grooming as talked about before.

Incressing brow definition
If eyebrows are naturally light or spare:

Improve grooming and keep in good health.

The goal is a stronger frame, not unnatural brows.

Sleep and fatihue management
Proof sleep can worsen:

- Eye puffiness
- Under eue darkness (dark circles
- General eye area quality

This will not change your structure, but it can significantly affect presentation.

Don't confuse remporary squinting, posing or camera nagles with structural improvement.

Fix the presentation before judging the structure
Use neutral lighting, a relaxed ecpression and a normal camera distance when assessing your eye area don't rate yourself immediately after waking up, poor sleep or from an extreme camera nagle.

Know what is and isn't changeable

Trainable

- Brow grooming
- Temporary puffiness
- Presentation and styling

Mostly anatomical:
- Brow ridge prominence
- Natural brow position
- Orbital structure
- Natural eyelid anatomy
- Degree of hooding

That distiction is probably the most important part of this guide.
> Optimize what you can actually cgange instead of trying to dorce skeletal features that you cannot.

Conclusion
Most people spend too much time analyzing the eyes themselves and too little time analyzing the structures around them

Eye attractivness is heavily influenced by framing.

Low-set borws, good brow density, moderate hooding and reduced UEE all contribute to a more compact and visually striking eye area.

The lesson is simple. Do not evaluate the eyes alone. Evaluate the entire eye area.

I was gonna use it to correct my grammar like @enchanted_elixir guide said but I ended up not using it.
all the actual info is stuff i've learned and discussed with others, and researched/collected over time. some of the information is also from scientific sources like sciencedirect like i linked in my first guide

yeah, eye area is one of the most talked about but not all threads and guides will tell you all of the things you need to know that's why it's best to read and use things from all the threads that stand out
