Both parents of mine are neurotypical. Yet my mom carries an autism gene. I have multiple cousins on my mom's side of the family who show signs of autism.

Being an autist who didn't know any better was how I pulled it off. Petting their hair was something I did without thinking.

Part of it is the fact that a foid won't be viewed as a creep for an unwanted hug. Foids can get away with all sorts of stuff easier than we can.
