sure, it's not that every other guy out there can't and will never get a girlfriend even if they try their hardest, but i'd draw the line between:
1. can get laid with decently attractive women regularly with minimal/reasonable effort
2. has to try hard (including "putting himself out there" all the time + approaching whenever possible, despite the odds of success being 3%) just to land a mid looking gf with 0 sex appeal and then pray that someone better looking doesn't approach her
