I'm not entirely sure tbh tbh. With the invasion it was pretty clear, but here there seems to be an obstacle that i'm still trying to indentify which may stop Russia from "taking" it in some way. Common sense says they will capture the city eventually but this isn't a walk in the park by any means. There will be a big struggle.

I am still betting that if they capture it (whether they will hold i don't know), it will happen on March 5th Kyiv time but i am not 100% sure the city will fall like we would understand it to.

Russia is encountering multiple obstacles, but the largest obstacle in my opinion is that Ukrainian citizens constantly make pictures, videos or share locations when they spot Russian troops (this is practically a new phenomenon, the US and its allies did not encounter it to this degree in the ME or Libya). On top the USA is obviously constantly sharing satellite/recon/intel to Ukrainians as well. As a result Ukrainians are practically constantly in the know of Russian movements and locations and can amass resistance as a result.
