All living things die. The reason why we die of old age is because the purpose of life is to reproduce and get offspring which is better suited for survival and reproductive success. In our case at this poiyin history it's LOOKS. (IN THE PAST IT WAS PROBABLY MORE PHYSICAL STRENGTH, SOCIAL SKILLS, CUNNING, ETC ETC ETC ((SOME ARE STILL USEFUL OBVIOUSLY))).
